Playing DOTA as a Hobby

Defense of the Ancients (DotA) is a multiplayer online battle arena mod for the video game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the "Aeon of Strife" map for StarCraft. The scenario objective is for each team to destroy the opponents' Ancient, heavily guarded structures at opposing corners of the map. Players use powerful units known as heroes, and are assisted by allied heroes and AI-controlled fighters. As in role-playing games, players level up their heroes and use gold to buy equipment during the mission.

I remember when I was 4 years old, I was playing a game called Snake, Bantumi, and Space Impact in Nokia. I can tell that I am born as a gamer. I have many experiences in gaming. I play lots of games, like Special Force, Ran Online, Tantra, Ragnarok, Gunz the Duel and etc. But among of them the game I like is DOTA, because DOTA is known all over the world.

I discovered DOTA when I was 5 years old, my cousin used to play this game and I was amazed. I start playing DOTA at the age 8 years old. My first time of playing DOTA was very difficult of course. My first hero was Mirana Nightshade. But one month later, I learned fast and played competitively with my friends. Playing DOTA is fun because it never gets boring. Every time I have free time I always play DOTA. I can say that I am very competitive when it comes to online games. d

By the way the photo shown above is Anti-Mage, he is my favorite hero in DOTA. Anti-Mage is a fast melee Agility Carry with an emphasis on disabling and killing high-mana enemies. He has notably high agility and low base attack time, giving him high damage and scaling with his basic attacks.

The photo shown above is The International DOTA 2 Championships wherein DOTA players all over the world compete for the Aegis or the trophy and money of course. The tournament was hosted in Seattle. The Main Event took place at KeyArena, a multi-purpose arena in Seattle Center with a total seating capacity of over 17,000. This year's The International, the prize pool is $18,429,613. The grand champion in the International 5 (2015) was the team named Evil Geniuses from the United States of America. They won the aegis and the grand prize with $6,634,660.
